wow. wow.
watching the movie, you must congratulate the director, writters, actors and all involved in its maing for producing a long lasting film that is unique and devastingly true about the hunting of species. reversing the role. the hunters of Earth hunted by one of the few mighty lords f universe shown in the cinema.
this script would have made the film even greater and maybe kept the monster as the star of the story. for me, it is. not many can make Arny look like a small man.
had everything in this script been made to film, we probably would not have the classic finish to a monster movie: running away from its last hope of revenge. not knowing if you will make it.
this is good work by Jim and John Thomas. director Mctiernan did well to work within budget to bring the movie to fulflliment, without showing the stuffed soldiers and the Predator ship, which many cmic books and other AVP films have produced.
excellent screen writing for the creature's vision. it really is spooky the way they hid its true features till the last 30 minutes of the film. Jel Hynek, speacial effects (predator cloaking, the big tree fight), owes his speacial effects award for this film to the creative writting of the Thomas brothers.
well done, HUNTER/PREDATOR. I STILL THINK THEY SHOULD HAVE CALLED IT HUNTER, BUT PREDATOR IS MORE TERRIFYING.
